The Joint Postgraduate Programme of Studies “History of Medicine and Biological Anthropology: Health, Disease and Natural Selection” was established with the Official Gazette 1674/16-05-2017 vol.B’.

It was re-established by the Official Gazette 4055/17-09-2018 vol.B’ and its Internal Regulation was approved by Government Gazette 4637/17-12-2019, vol.B’.

The necessary adaptation of the Establishment Decision and the Internal Regulations of the Programme in accordance with Law 4957/2022, was carried out with decision 85871/24-07-2025 of the Senate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Government Gazette 4173/31-07-2025, vol. B’).
