Call for applications 2017-18

The Schools of Medicine AUTh and History and Ethnology DUTh announce thirty-five (35) positions for postgraduate students for the academic year 2017-2018 in the Joint Postgraduate Programme of Studies “HISTORY OF MEDICINE AND BIOLOGICAL ANTHROPOLOGY: HEALTH, ILLNESS AND NATURAL CHOICE“.

The duration of the Programme is three semesters of attendance and one semester of thesis preparation. The successful fulfillment of the relevant obligations leads to the acquisition of a Postgraduate Diploma of Specialization (MDE). Attending the courses, seminars and other activities of the Programme is mandatory.

Admission categories

Graduates of the Schools of Medicine, History and Ethnology, Dentistry, History, Biology, Anthropology, History and Archaeology, Greek Philology and other relevant Schools of local universities and recognized institutions abroad are admitted to the Programme. Also, graduates of other Universities Schools or other Higher Schools of the country, (or abroad with recognition of equivalence and corresponding score by D.O.A.T.A.P.) can also be accepted.

Number of admissions

The number of admissions to the Programme is limited to a maximum of thirty-five (35). Also, in excess of the prescribed number of admissions, scholarships will be accepted, in accordance with the provisions of article 4 par. 3 of Law 3685/2008 or the current legislation.

Applications

Candidates are invited to submit their supporting documents to the Programme secretariat at the School of Medicine, AUTh from 3 to 14 July 2017 and from 4 to 8 September 2017 and hours from 10:30 am. until 12.30.
